These terms are an agreement between you, the Shopify merchant who installs SEO Node, and Prome Solutions, LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using SEO Node you agree to them. If you use the app for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
SEO Node is a Shopify app that scans your store, reports SEO issues, and, when you switch features on or ask it to, changes SEO-related content in your store: meta titles and descriptions, image alt text and files, URLs, redirects, structured data output through a theme app embed, an llms.txt file and FAQ schema. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing section and in the app.
2. Your account and store
You need an active Shopify store. You are responsible for your store, the content in it, and who can access the app through your Shopify admin. You confirm you have the right to let us process the store content you give the app access to.
3. Changes the app makes
- SEO Node only changes your store for features you switch on or actions you take.
- AI-written text can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing content published in your store, including AI-written titles, descriptions, alt text, keyword suggestions and FAQ answers.
- Changes are written to standard Shopify fields and remain in your store after uninstalling. The app keeps a history of every change. Some changes can be undone in the app (for example image restore for 120 days, URL revert, and Remove fixes when downgrading); others, such as redirects and alt text, stay in place.
- The app does not edit your theme files. Storefront output comes from an app embed you control in the theme editor.
4. No guarantee of results
Search engines and AI assistants decide how they rank, display and cite pages. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, rich result, AI mention or sales outcome. SEO results take time and depend on many factors outside our control.
5. Plans, trials and billing
- Prices are shown in USD and charged by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose. Concierge is billed monthly only.
- Paid plans include a 14-day free trial, counted once per store across paid plans. If you cancel or uninstall during the trial, you are not charged.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the app. Charges, refunds and taxes are handled under Shopify's billing terms; we do not issue charges outside Shopify.
- Free plan limits (250 products for alt text, 250 items for meta tags) count each item once and do not reset. Compression allowances reset each calendar month.
- If your subscription ends, is cancelled or is frozen by Shopify, paid features switch off. Changes already made stay in your store.
- We may change prices or plan features. We will give you notice in the app or by email before a price change affects your subscription, and Shopify will ask you to approve any higher charge.
6. Concierge requests
On the Concierge plan you can send SEO requests from the app. We handle them with reasonable care and skill within the scope of the plan. Concierge does not include guaranteed results, and everything it includes is covered by the Concierge subscription.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the app for a store you are not authorised to manage; attempt to access other merchants' data; interfere with or overload the service; reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or use it to publish unlawful or misleading content.
8. Third-party services
The app works with Shopify, Google Search Console, AI providers via OpenRouter, and review apps you use. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or changes they make.
9. Your data
Our privacy policy explains how we handle data. You keep all rights to your store content. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service.
10. Our intellectual property
SEO Node, its software, design and help content belong to Prome Solutions, LLC. We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your store while you have it installed.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep SEO Node available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
12. Disclaimer
Except as stated in these terms and to the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us through Shopify for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using SEO Node at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if required by Shopify or by law. After uninstalling, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
