Not a real search result: the kind of meta title and description SEO Node's AI writes. The app shows an AI preview for one of your products, and nothing is written to your store until you switch on a fix or run one yourself.

Why it matters

Search engines read your store field by field

Every product, collection, page and blog post has a meta title, a meta description and a URL, and product images can carry alt text. Search engines can use these fields when they list your pages, and Google may show your meta description as the snippet under your link. SEO Node's audits show which of your fields are empty, too long or repeated, so you don't have to check them one by one.

How it works

From install to a cleaner store in four steps

  1. Install.

    Add SEO Node to your Shopify store and approve the permissions. The first scan of your products, collections, pages, blog posts, images and storefront health starts on its own. Large catalogs can take a few minutes.

  2. Turn on AutoPilot.

    The setup checklist starts here. AI alt text, meta titles and meta descriptions are switched on for you; switch off any you don't want, then start AutoPilot and it begins fixing right away. You can change any setting later on the AutoPilot page. On Pro, turn on Google snippets and switch on the SEO Node app embed in your theme to add structured data.

  3. See what we found.

    Check your Technical and Content grades and an AI-written title and description previewed for one of your products.

  4. Connect Google and get weekly updates.

    Connect Google Search Console, turn on the weekly email and check the Reports page. SEO Node keeps scanning and fixing in the background.

Do you change my theme files?

No. SEO Node never edits your theme code. Storefront output (structured data, the Google verification tag, FAQ schema, speed scripts and 404 tracking) comes from a Shopify app embed that you switch on in the theme editor and can switch off at any time. Everything else is saved in standard Shopify fields such as product SEO titles, image alt text and redirects.

What happens when I uninstall? Will theme code be left behind?

No theme code is left behind. The app embed stops rendering as soon as you uninstall, so its structured data and scripts disappear from your storefront. Changes saved in Shopify fields, such as titles, descriptions, alt text, URLs and redirects, stay, because they belong to your store. If you want paid changes undone first, use Remove fixes on the Plan page before you uninstall. Your app data is deleted 48 hours after uninstalling.

How long until I see results?

SEO takes time, and nobody can promise rankings. Google usually needs a few weeks to re-read changed pages, and changes in how often you appear in search tend to build over months. SEO Node shows what it changed and, once Search Console is connected, your real clicks and impressions, so you can follow progress yourself.

Will AutoPilot overwrite text I wrote myself?

Not by default. Protection for fields you edited yourself is on when you install, so AutoPilot skips titles and descriptions you edited in the app or in Shopify. You can turn protection off if you want AutoPilot to rewrite everything. Alt text sync keeps existing alt text unless you choose otherwise.

Which languages does SEO Node support?

The app interface is available in 10 languages: English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, French, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Swedish. By default, AI writes alt text and meta tags in the language you use the app in; in Settings you can switch it to your store's primary language or any of these 10 languages. This website is in English.

Is my data safe?

SEO Node reads the store data it needs through Shopify's Admin API, using only the permissions listed at install. It does not store personal data about your shoppers in its database: 404 tracking saves the missing page's path, a visit count, first and last seen times and recent referring page addresses (without query strings), never IP addresses. Like any web service, requests to the app pass through our hosting provider, whose logs may briefly hold technical data such as IP addresses and requested URLs. Google Search Console tokens are encrypted at rest. Product details are sent to an AI provider only to write your SEO text. Billing runs through Shopify, so we never see card details. All data linked to your store is deleted after you uninstall. Read the privacy policy for details.

How does the free trial work?

Pro, Premium and Concierge include a 14-day free trial, counted once per store. You approve the subscription in Shopify; you are not charged if you cancel or uninstall during the trial.

What does the Free plan include, and what are the limits?

Free includes your grades, audits, store health checks, Search Console metrics for 90 days, speed tests, reports and weekly email. AI or template alt text covers up to 250 products and meta tags up to 250 items. The limits count each item once and do not reset. Pro removes them.

Do I need to know SEO to use it?

No. The setup checklist walks you through four steps, AutoPilot handles routine fixes, and every page in the app links to a guide in plain language.

Does it work with my review app?

Yes, for star ratings in structured data. SEO Node detects ratings from Judge.me and other apps that use Shopify's standard review fields, plus Loox, Okendo, Yotpo, Stamped, Reviews.io and more. You can also pick the app yourself or turn ratings off. Whether stars appear in results is up to Google.

Will it slow down my store?

The app embed adds a small amount of structured data, a tiny inline script on your store's 404 page that reports the missing address, and, only if you turn on speed actions, one deferred script. Image compression and lazy-loading, where you use them, reduce page weight. You can test pages from the Speed page before and after.

What is the Concierge plan?

Concierge includes everything in Premium, a 20 GB monthly compression allowance and done-for-you SEO requests (reviews, content writing, technical fixes, strategy calls) that you send from Settings in the app. Everything is covered by the $199 monthly Shopify subscription, with no extra invoices.
